Construccions Deumal’s priorities are our clients, our staff and our collaborators.

Company policy

Construccions Deumal’s comprehensive policy of quality, environment and prevention of occupational risks aims to:

  • Fulfil the clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Guarantee the respect and conservation of the environment where the interventions are carried out.
  • Prevent risks and guarantee the safety of the staff.

In order to obtain the client’s full trust, the company provides the human and technical resources necessary to meet all their needs as well as the system needed to fulfil the commitments made.

We value the involvement of all our staff while promoting communication and teamwork, in order to achieve continuous improvement of the integrated system and productivity. Construccions Deumal complies with and implements the measures recommended by standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (previously OHSAS), and promotes the use of planning, control and prevention techniques to ensure the quality of our processes and interventions.

 

R&D

In our constant quest to improve and provide customers with the best solution for every intervention, at Construccions Deumal we are continuously researching new products and pavements. The launch of the following products demonstrates this effort: colour asphalt 10COLOR, which can be used to manufacture a wide range of mixtures; the new cold-mix asphalt 10MAFRED, with great features and durability; ECOPREC, a paving-stone base mix that replaces traditional mortar and incorporates additional features to those currently existing on the market, and the slurries, for a much finer result than asphalt mixes.

The profits earned by the company to date have always been reinvested in the company, with the aim of improving our competitiveness through the introduction of modern working systems and state-of-the-art machinery that facilitates an ever-increasing reduction in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

Aware of the challenges of the society around us, we work with companies for the incorporation of people at risk of exclusion into the labour market. We regularly collaborate with local sports teams and we take part, like anyone else, all kinds of celebrations and events of interest, whether they are major festivities, popular celebrations or informative sessions.

In order to achieve this we provide the resources and specialised staff needed for the optimal development of the different tasks.
  • We want our staff and our collaborators to get involved, understand and take part in our quality management systems, environmental management systems, as well as our occupational health and safety management systems, a key mind-set to conquer the challenges of the future.
  • Our day-to-day work revolves around our customers, which is why we focus on working for them and give them priority. We achieve this by improving our work processes and training our staff, and by using innovation and new technologies.
  • We cannot neglect our surroundings which allow us to develop our projects. We are responsible for the environment and the well-being of the people. At Construccions Deumal we work so that wherever we carry out an intervention, the residues are managed appropriately, and the environment is adequately protected and conserved, always prioritising the minimisation of occupational risks for all the staff and applying the appropriate health and safety measures in order to avoid undesired situations.

To reach these goals, we rely on quality management systems ISO 9001:2015, environmental management systems ISO 14001:2015 and occupational health and safety management systems ISO 45001:2018 (previously OHSAS). We comply with their specifications at all levels and in each and every one of the company’s activities, in order to ensure total quality and scrupulous compliance with current legislation.
